REFUND & RETURN POLICY
At Best Pedigree, we pride ourselves on breeding healthy, happy, and structurally sound Jack Russell Terriers. We want you to feel completely confident in your decision to welcome one of our puppies into your home. Please read our strict guidelines regarding deposits, refunds, and our lifetime return policy carefully.
Reservation Deposits
To reserve a puppy from a current or upcoming litter, we require a holding deposit. All holding deposits are strictly non-refundable. When you place a deposit, we remove that puppy from the market and turn away other prospective families.
However, deposits are 100% transferable to a future litter if your circumstances change and you cannot take a puppy at the current time, or if the specific gender/color you requested is not available in the current litter.
Health Guarantees
Your puppy comes with a comprehensive genetic health guarantee. You are required to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival. If, within this timeframe, the veterinarian discovers a severe, life-threatening congenital defect, you must provide us with a written statement from your vet.
In the rare event of a severe congenital defect diagnosed within the guarantee period, you may return the puppy for a full refund of the purchase price, or opt to receive a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We do not cover common, treatable, or environmentally induced conditions such as parasites, minor infections, or allergies under this refund policy.
Buyer's Remorse
Owning a Jack Russell Terrier is a 15+ year commitment. We do not offer cash refunds for buyer's remorse, allergies, landlord disputes, lifestyle changes, or an inability to properly train or care for the dog. Please ensure you are entirely ready for the responsibility of a high-energy puppy before making a purchase.
Lifetime Surrender Policy
While we do not offer refunds for changes in life circumstances, we do offer a strict Lifetime Return Policy. If at any point in the dog's life you can no longer care for them whether they are 6 months old or 10 years old the dog must be returned to us.
Under absolutely no circumstances is a Best Pedigree dog allowed to be surrendered to an animal shelter, pound, or rescue organization. We will always welcome our dogs back home with open arms to ensure they are safe, loved, and rehomed properly.
Initiating a Return
If you need to discuss a health concern under your guarantee or need to utilize our Lifetime Surrender Policy, please contact us immediately via phone or email. We handle all situations with compassion, professionalism, and the best interest of the dog in mind.
